OXYMETAL, which was first a specialist in flame cutting when it was founded in 1984, rapidly moved into laser cutting, with the entry into the Group of the Limoges site in the 1990s.
From 2003, OXYMETAL began to diversify, offering its customers mechanical welding services.
Taken over by Sequor Industrie in 2011, OXYMETAL returned to its core business and focused its activity on its original know-how: laser cutting and flame cutting.
In order to offer services that best correspond to the requirements of its customers, OXYMETAL regularly renews its CO2 laser machine fleet and invests in cutting edge technologies, with the arrival of a 2-head laser, YAG lasers, fibre lasers and ever more efficient finishing equipment.
This desire to improve OXYMETAL's services through investment has continued in 2016: new bending presses will soon be commissioned at Arras and Verneuil and a brand-new laser will be added to the machine fleet in Bordeaux in May. The Metz site will be equipped with a third YAG laser in September.
