On Saturday 8 June, the Bordeaux Oxymétaliens and their families got together to support the UBB against OYONNAX!
The stadium was packed to the rafters and the atmosphere was fantastic - in short, it was another great moment of sharing and conviviality!

Aurelie Guichon - Director of Human Resources. 📅 How long have you been with OXYMETAL? I joined the OXYMETAL Group 5 years ago. ❓ What does your job involve? It involves defining and implementing the Group's HR strategy and policy in close collaboration with General Management, and with the support of my team. This includes, among other things, recruitment, training, remuneration, career management, employment law issues and HR projects... ❤️ What do you like best about your job? I like the contact with employees, the cross-functional nature of the issues and sometimes the complexity of them. The day-to-day tasks are varied and sometimes unpredictable! No two days are the same, and I've been doing it for 15 years! 🌞 A passion, a hobby? One of my favourite pastimes is going to garage sales... On Sunday mornings, looking for (small) treasures or second-hand clothes! And also, my vegetable garden, which I pamper all year round! ✒ A quote? ‘Behind every great man is a woman’. I find this expression is often illustrated particularly in politics. I particularly like President Kennedy's humorous little phrase during his trip to Paris: ‘I'm the man who accompanied Jacqueline Kennedy to Paris, and I loved it...’. |
Pierre-Jean Oxymetalien since 2008.’ I joined OXYMETAL SUD-OUEST in 2008 as Quality Manager and then QSE Manager. In this position for 10 years, I had the pleasure of talking to all the staff and customers to discover OXYMETAL, rebuild the QMS and launch a continuous improvement approach. As part of the site relocation project, I was able to take a LEAN Management training course with Nicolas FOIREST, Site Manager at the time. This training gave me a taste for the logistical aspects of the company and a desire for change. So when we moved in 2018, I was given the opportunity to take charge of the logistics team as Supply Chain Manager. This is an operational position in constant contact with production, customers, suppliers and subcontractors to guarantee a quality service on time for external AND internal customers. For me, team spirit, organisation and day-to-day rigour are the keys to getting the job done right.

Dylan - Methods and CAD Technician I mainly deal with the pre-oxycutting part of the parts: I'm looking forward to being at the forefront of manufacturing the parts! I have quite a few hobbies, such as composing on sequencers/synthesizers, digital art, graphic design and video games. |
Martine, 55 and Oxymetal employee since 2022. ‘I joined Oxymetal in December 2022 for a 6-month temporary assignment. I was then called back for a permanent contract, which I gladly accepted because I really liked the job and the company itself. My job is to remove the parts from the skeletons after laser cutting. I'm passionate about mechanics, and in fact I do my own car maintenance as well as some repairs to household appliances. I've also been riding a motorbike for over 20 years. |
